Adding a Reseller

  • VDO Panel lets you add one or multiple resellers as required. 

    The procedure for adding a Reseller is as follows:

    1. From the Left Pane, click Resellers to expand it.
      The following sub-sections display.

      1. All Resellers

      2. Add new Reseller

                

    1. Click Add New Reseller.
      The parameters display to add a new reseller.

       

    2. Specify the following parameters:
       

    Parameter

    Description

    Username

    Specify a username for the reseller account. The username must be in alphanumeric format.

    Email

    Specify the Email address of the reseller.

    Channel Name

    Specify the reseller’s company name.

    Language

    Let's select a supported language for the reseller’s account. You can select from any of the following languages for the reseller’s account: English, Arabic, Czech, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Persian, Polish, Russian, Romanian, Turkish, Greek, Chinese, etc.

    Password

    Set a password for the reseller’s account. The password must be in an alphanumeric format and it must contain at least 12 characters.
     

    Confirm Password

    Enter the above password again for confirmation purposes.

    Viewers Limit

    Specify the maximum number of viewers allowed to view the channel. For example, if you specify “500”, it means that maximum 500 viewers are allowed to view the channel.

     

    To specify unlimited viewers limit, enter “0”.

    Account Limit

    Specify the maximum number of broadcaster accounts that a reseller can create. For example, if you enter 100, it means that a reseller can provide the VDO Panel streaming services upto maximum 100 broadcasters.

     

    To give unlimited account creation rights to a reseller, enter “0”.

    Allow Youtube Streaming

    Let's decide whether Youtube streaming should be allowed to the selected reseller or not. To allow Youtube streaming, check Yes otherwise No.
     

    Allow Facebook Streaming

    Let's decide whether Facebook streaming should be allowed to the selected reseller or not. To allow Facebook streaming, check Yes otherwise No.
     

    Allow Twitch Streaming

    Let's decide whether Twitch streaming should be allowed to the selected reseller or not. To allow Twitch streaming, check Yes otherwise No.
     

    Allow Dailymotion Streaming

    Let's decide whether Dailymotion streaming should be allowed to the selected reseller or not. To allow Dailymotion streaming, check Yes otherwise No.
     

    Allow Custom Streaming

    Let's decide whether to allow broadcasting the custom RTMP or m3u8 streaming URL via VDO Panel or not. To allow custom streaming, click Yes otherwise No.

    TV Station Storage

    Let's specify the maximum allowed data storage to the selected reseller. The storage limit can be specified in megabytes. To specify unlimited data storage to a reseller, enter “0”.

    Traffic per Month

    Let's specify the maximum traffic allowed to a reseller per month. The traffic limit can be specified in megabytes. To specify unlimited traffic to a reseller, enter “0”.


    After specifying the above parameters, click Create.
    The reseller’s account creates based on the specified parameters. Once an account is created, you can view it in the Resellers list.
