Assigning Permissions to Supervisor

• VDO Panel lets you assign certain roles and permissions to a supervisor to manage Broadcasters, Resellers, Email Templates, and many other activities.

  To assign roles and permissions to a supervisor:

  1. From the Left Pane, click Supervisors to expand it.
     The following sub-sections display.

     1. All Supervisors

     2. Add new Supervisor

  

  2. Click All Supervisor.
     The list of the available supervisors displays.
     

  3. In the Supervisors list, click for a Supervisor to assign him the required rights or permissions.
     
     

  The Roles and Permissions page displays.

  4. Check the permissions you want to assign to the selected Supervisor.
      

  Type	Permission
  Broadcaster	Check the required permissions to give the supervisor access to manage the Broadcasters:   Broadcasters Broadcaster Create Broadcaster View Broadcaster Edit Broadcaster Delete Broadcaster Suspend/Unsuspend Broadcaster Login As
  Resellers	Check the required permissions to give the supervisor access to manage the Resellers:   Resellers Reseller Create Reseller View Reseller Edit Reseller Delete Reseller Suspend/Unsuspend Reseller Login As
  Templates	Check the required permission to give the supervisor access to manage the Email templates:   Templates
  System Settings	Check the required permissions to give the supervisor access to manage the system settings:   Account Setting SMTP Configuration License API Configuration
  Branding	Check the required permission to give the supervisor access to manage the Domain for branding:   Branding
  Backup and Transfer	Check the required permission to give the supervisor access to manage the Backup and Transfer:   Backup Configuration Backup Scheduling Status Restore Backup Manually Backup Transfer Tool
  Restart Service	Check the required permission to give the supervisor access to manage the restarting of services:   Restart Service
  System Info	Check the required permission to give the supervisor access to view the server’s details:   System Info
  Version	Check the required permission to give the supervisor access to view the versioning details:   Check Version

  After checking the desired permissions, click Update.
  The selected permissions are assigned to the Supervisor.
